Hi! I’m Alex, a Licensed Master Social Worker. As a Social Worker, I have experience working with teenagers and adults navigating mental health challenges in inpatient, outpatient, and residential settings. After navigating pregnancy and the postpartum period myself (an experience that is equal parts awe-inspiring and wildly humbling), I developed a strong interest in supporting others through the joys and challenges of this transformative time. I also enjoy working with couples who want to strengthen communication, rebuild trust, or navigate life transitions together with greater clarity and connection. My clinical interests also include working with teenagers and adults who are navigating depression, anxiety, identity development, stress management, and chronic illness or chronic pain. Whether you’re stepping into a new role, facing uncertainty, or feeling overwhelmed by life’s demands, therapy can offer a supportive space to slow down, reflect, and make sense of what’s unfolding. My approach is collaborative, thoughtful, and grounded in genuine connection. I view mental health through a holistic, mind–body lens, recognizing that stress, emotions, relationships, and physical experiences are deeply interconnected. In our work together, we’ll explore emotional patterns and life stressors while also paying attention to how they show up in the body. I integrate insight-oriented and evidence-based practices, tailoring treatment to your unique needs and goals. Together, we’ll build insight, practical tools, and self-compassion that actually fit into your real, busy life. I have received additional training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Integrative Mental Health using mind body practices and the tenants of lifestyle medicine to promote physical and mental wellness.
If you are looking to understand yourself better, feel more grounded in your body and relationships, and move through life with a little more clarity— and kindness to yourself, I’d be glad to support you.
A Note on Finances: Alex is out-of-network with insurance companies and is currently accepting private pay clients only at this time.
