I am a licensed therapist dedicated to promoting emotional well-being and resilience within BIPOC communities. My approach to therapy is both compassionate and evidence-based, catering to clients who face a range of challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and romantic relationship issues. I have trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and couples therapy. I utilize a collaborative and person-centered approach, integrating motivational interviewing to ensure that every client feels heard and supported. I strive to create a safe and nurturing environment where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings, develop effective coping strategies, and achieve personal growth, all while addressing mental health stigmas and stress management. I am particularly passionate about raising awareness around mental health issues and reducing stigma in BIPOC communities. I embrace and affirm all identities and backgrounds, ensuring that everyone feels valued and understood in our therapeutic relationship.
In my spare time....
I enjoy traveling and spending quality moments with my family. I love hosting gatherings, exploring new places, and relaxing near the water. When the weather permits, you may find me on a patio, catching up with friends. Additionally, I enjoy watching documentaries and listening to podcasts during my downtime.
