Yoga is the journey
of the self
through the self
to the self.
The Bhagavad Gita

Yoga

Looking to expand your journey to encompass your physical body as well? Consider yoga. The practice is powerful medicine, and one I "prescribe" to many of my clients. Rooted in compassion and self-inquiry, yoga is a conduit for personal transformation. In my own life, I've seen my patterns and tendencies mirrored on my mat again and again. When I describe yoga as a "powerful medicine," this is what I mean. In enough time, yoga reflects all the parts of you--parts you know about and parts you don't yet. This increased self-awareness, coupled with the compassion characteristic of yoga, opens the door to a radical self-acceptance.

I teach alignment-based vinyasa flow, meaning that we focus on synchronizing breath and movement, cultivating an awareness of our bodies, and making space for openness physically and mentally. Whether you're able to make one of my classes or another elsewhere, I hope you'll look into this life-changing practice.

If you're interested in working one-on-one or with a friend, I occasionally offer private yoga sessions as well.
